Amandine, visiting Sri Lanka from France, wanted to donate school supplies directly to children who needed them. Rather than searching blindly, she asked ChatGPT to help her find a local NGO she could trust — and it pointed her to People's Hands Organization.
That conversation turned into a same-trip visit to T/Mohamadiya Vidyalayam in Iqbalnagar, Kuchchaveli Divisional Secretariat, where PHO had already coordinated with the school to identify students who would benefit most.
It's a small but telling example of how an individual donor, a piece of everyday technology, and a community-based organization on the ground can turn a good intention into school supplies in a child's hands within days.
